Abstract
The presence of wire in industry is very important, because wire can be used in various fields, such as: machining, building construction, electricity networks, telecommunications, electronics and in the medical field. So that the wire cannot be separated from its existence in the industrial world. In this study, a test will be carried out that aims to analyze the effect of Ti6al4v Eli Wire Reduction in the Wire Drawing Process with Low Rotation Speed on Lubricant Variations in which the lubricants used are grease, oil, and cooking oil. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out a Wire Drawing Test, and a Hardness Test on the Wire Drawing Test using a variety of lubricants because it is one of the test parameters that might affect the results of the specimens that have been tested so that they have usability that can be utilized for technology development and become alternative materials as substitutes. steel wire used in orthodontics. It can be concluded from the tests that have been carried out, namely the thicker the lubricant when the wire is drawn through the Wire Drawing, the mechanical properties of the Ti6Al4v-ELI wire will increase in terms of strength, stiffness and hardness, then the ductility of the wire will decrease.
