Abstract
ABSTRAK Invasion or war is an event involving material and human injury. Humanitarian law is a legal provision governing armed conflict. The purpose of humanitarian law is to reduce the pain caused by war. Often in the event of war, there are violations of the human rights received by victims of war. Invasion Rusia to Ukraina, This resulted in human rights violations for the victims of the conflict. These include murder bombing by use cluster munitions. Such acts are prohibited and subject to the Geneva Convention 1949 and Annexes I and II of the Additional Protocol 1977. 1) How humanitarian law regulates invasion (war) ? 2) What is the legal analysis of Russian invasion to Ukraine in 2022 according to internastional humanitarian law ? from this fact The authors conducted the study using normative search methods. Data sources are used as primary and secondary data sources The data obtained are analyzed qualitatively. The results of the investigation revealed that 1) International humanitarian law provides for various and prohibiton in war. 2) Russian invasion Violates the provisions of international humanitarian law. The operation was carried out by the Russian army. Russian army violates Articles 1949 and I of the 1977 Geneva Convention, several provisions of the Supplementary Protocol.
