Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy and financial management on the performance and sustainability of MSMEs in the Padang Pariaman district. A quantitative study that uses primary data obtained through questionnaires. The study population consists of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) actors in Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra. The sampling technique used in the study is saturation or census sampling, and 130 questionnaires were obtained. The data were processed using SPSS software for Windows version 22. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a positive effect on the performance and sustainability of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and financial management has a positive effect on business sustainability. In contrast, financial management does not affect the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
