Abstract

System for controlling and monitoring consumption of electricity in residential areas currently has deficiencies in both postpaid and prepaid electricity systems. The current monitoring system can only be carried out by the PLN by doing it manually, namely, by recording the postpaid electricity by the officer or turning off the electricity that enters the house automatically when the KWH meter usage has run out on prepaid electricity. At this time, residential home users often can not control electronic equipment when they are carrying out activities outside or inside the house. Thus causing swelling of the use of electricity. Thus, a system is needed that is able to control electricity use and display the use of home electricity every day and at any time, along with a sumarry of electricity usage. In the problem above, the author has an idea, namely, to create an electricity usage control system that can turn off electricity automatically, monitor electricity usage, and record it in KWH and rupiah, which must use an application on an Android cellphone called Blynk application.
