Abstract

Observation of road surface conditions and road sections needs to be done to determine the condition of the road surface. The assessment of road failure, it was carried out using the PCI (Pavement Condition Index) method and the IRI (International Roughness Index) method on the Kiliranjao - Dhamasraya section STA 159 + 000 - 164 + 000. The result analysis using the PCI method obtained an average value of 16.36 with an assessment of very poor road conditions, while using the IRI method obtained a value of 12.22 with severely degraded road conditions and unstable road classification. The repair of road based on PCI value of 16.36 is reconstruction by repairing the entire pavement structure. Keywords: Road, Crash, PCI, IRI
