Abstract
PENGARUH TINGKAT PERTUMBUHAN PENDUDUK, PENGELUARAN PEMERINTAH DAN PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI SUMATERA BARAT Ade Rizalman, 〖Erni Febrina Harahap 〗^1, 〖Kasman Karimi 〗^2, Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi, Universitas Bung Hatta Email : ade.rizalman@yahoo.co.id, erni_fh@yahoo.co.id, Kasman_karimi@yahoo.com ABSTRACT Economic growth is an economic problem in the long run and is influenced by several factors. Economic growth is a leading indicator in economic development and also plays an important role in the development of a region in order to create public welfare. This study aims to prove how the variables of population growth, government expenditure and regional income have an influence on economic growth in West Sumatra. The data used in this study are data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and indicators for 19 Districts / Cities of West Sumatra Province. The analytical method used is panel data regression with the Fixed Effec Model (FEM) approach. The results of this study indicate that population growth has a positive and significant influence on economic growth. Government spending has a positive and significant impact on economic growth. Local income has a positive and significant influence on economic growth. Keywords: Economic Growth, Population Growth, Government Expenditures, Regional Original Revenue
