Abstract

Limau Manis Village in Padang City, West Sumatra, is a significant producer of Mangosteen, with 80% of the city's Mangosteen coming from the Pauh District. Despite having around 200 hectares of potential mangosteen plantations and producing 11,575 tons in 2020, no processing factories or tourist destinations exist. A proposed Mangosteen Processing Industry Building with an Ecotourism Theme aims to increase the selling value of Mangosteen and boost the local economy. This study has been carried out in the frame of a quantitative case study approach. Keywords : Village, Industry, Mangosteen, Ecotourism
