Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of self efficacy and Emotional Intelligence Against employee job stress in sumatera v river basin development work unit. The population in this study were employees in sumatra v river basin work unit with 125 samples taken by purposive sampling. Data is processed using multiple linear regression using a questionnaire. The results showed that self-efficacy had a significant negative effect on job stress and emotional intelligence had a negative and significant effect on job stress. The suggestion that the self efficacy variable has the most influence on job stress, it is suggested that the sumatera river basin office unit always provide training to improve self-efficacy for employees in carrying out their work in accordance with the responsibilities given so that with strong self-efficacy Keywords: Self and high Efficacy, jon Emotional stress can Intelligence, be overcome.
