Abstract
Porosity in hydroxyapatite is a biomedical development for bone repair. This matter. caused by the increased use of bone graft, not only for bone rehabilitation material but also for graft has been widely used in dental rehabilitation. In this study aims to determine the porosity value of Hap-Biocomposite with the mold pressure and sintering temperature and the determined composition. After testing and analyzing the mechanical properties of biocomposite Hydroxyapatite, bovine bone and borosilicate with the composition (70%: 30%), (75%: 25%), (80%: 20%), (85%: 15%), ( 90%: 10%) with varying pressures of 5 kN, 15 kN, 25 kN at a temperature of 800 ° C after mixing using a test instrument namely planetary ball milling. To form the test specimen, printing with an compressive force of 5 kN is then given a sintering temperature of 800 ˚ C at maximum and minimum composition 85:15 maximum porosity value is (59%), minimum porosity value is (55%). In the printing test specimen with a pressure force of 15 kN then given sintering 800˚C, the maximum value and minimum composition of 90:15 is obtained at a maximum of (50%), a minimum of (47%). In the printing test specimen with a pressure force of 25 kN then given a sintering of 800˚C, the maximum and minimum composition values were 80:20, maximum (29%), minimum (26%). Keywords : Porosity, Hydroxyapatite, Bio-Composite, Borosilicate, Sintering
