Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze and describe the metaphorical form of being and the metaphorical function contained in Kenshi Yonezu's Stray Sheep album using Michael C Haley's theory and Leech's function theory. Using descriptive research methods and data analysis techniques, sort out the determinants. There are 20 data analyzed, as much as (1) The metaphor of being with an information function of 7 data, (2) The metaphor of being with an expressive function of 2 data, (3) The metaphor of being with a directive function of 3 data, (4) The metaphor of being with an aesthetic function is 8 data, and it can be concluded that in the Stray Sheep album the metaphor of being (state) uses more of an aesthetic function.
