Abstract

The purpose of writing this paper is to discuss teaching speaking by using AFM Model. To face the AEC (Asean Economic Community) program for the future, It hopes Indonesian people to be able to use English as second language. Learners face several problems like how to communicate in learning and mastery English, absolutely the teacher teach to learners about teaching speaking by using AFM. It is one of the best alternative solutions in teaching speaking for beginners. The use of AFM model is believed as an effective method to teach speaking for learners because it can make the learners easier and students get more spiritful, enjoy and motivatated because the model involves both physical and cognitive activities. The procedure or steps how to teach speaking by using AFM are three procedures of teaching described in this paper. They are pre-teaching, whilst-teaching and post-teaching activities.
