Abstract

Delays in a construction project we so often are, complex and at risk during the implementation of a construction project that can cause a variety the form of financial losses for service providers contractors and service users (the owner) .The experimental work on this writer will be looking at the delay in the completion of a job a construction project the field of public works agency PSDA district of Tanah Datar. The purpose of this research is to find factors influencing the delays in the completion of a construction project , known the impact due to delays in the implementation of a construction project , and to know the efforts to deal with the cause delays in the completion of a construction project . Qualitative methods was used in the study that is by observation and direct interview that is attached with documentation with the informants consisting of contractor and owner. Results is the dominant factor causing the irrigation project in kabupaten a flat administration project is report is, the condition bad, the mobilization of very high, material locations difficult to achieve, absence of anwijzing, cash flow or financial project, the operational costs, and the solution is project management must be repaired.
