This research uses data from 2011 to 2017. To prove the truth of the hypothesis the researcher divides the research variable into two main variables, namely the independent variable consisting of economic growth, human development index, unemployment and government spending and the dependent variable of development inequality. The analytical method used to prove the truth of the hypothesis is the panel regression model and t-statistical testing. In accordance with the results of the test it was found that the variable of economic growth did not affect the economic disparity of the people in 19 districts and cities while the human development index, unemployment rate and government spending individually had a significant effect on the economic disparity of the 19 districts and cities in West Sumatra. Keywords: Development Inequality, Economic Growth, Human Development Index, Unemployment Rate and Government Expenditures.
