Abstract

Developing countries such as Indonesia generally have an economic structure that tends to be vulnerable to shocks to the stability of economic activity. The economy has always been the most important concern because if the economy is in an unstable condition, economic problems will arise. Macroeconomic indicators play a very important role in stabilizing the economy. One of the macroeconomic indicators that can be used to see the stability of a country's economy is inflation, because changes in this indicator will have a direct impact on the economy of a country. Many factors affect inflation, including the money supply, public consumption, economic growth and interest rates. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of quantitative time series, namely data in the form of numbers. The analytical method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM). (2) Public consumption in the short and long term has no significant effect on the inflation rate in Indonesia (3) Economic growth in the short and long term has a significant effect on the inflation rate in Indonesia (4) Interest rates in the short and long term have a significant effect on the inflation rate.
