Abstract

Indonesia is an agribusiness country which means a business country based on agriculture. Rubber is one of Indonesia's mainstay exports in the agricultural sector, even Indonesia was once the largest rubber producer in the world. This study analyzes the volume of rubber exports in Indonesia in 1990-2019. By using the variable volume of rubber exports as the dependent variable and the exchange rate, rubber production, world rubber prices and the 2008 economic crisis as independent variables. The purpose of this study was to see how the influence of the exchange rate, rubber production, world rubber prices and the 2008 economic crisis on the volume of rubber exports, either partially or simultaneously. In this study using the method of analysis of Multiple Linear Regression and Classical Assumption test. From the research conducted, it was found that the exchange rate variable was positively related and had a significant effect on the volume of rubber exports in Indonesia, the rubber production variable was also positively related and had a significant effect on the volume of rubber exports in Indonesia, as well as the world rubber price variable which had a positive relationship and had a significant effect. on the volume of rubber exports in Indonesia, while the economic crisis in 2008 has a negative relationship and has a significant effect on the volume of rubber exports in Indonesia.
