Abstract

Tanah Datar regency is located in the middle of West Sumatra Province, dominated by agricultural sector in the regional economy. It is necessary to repair and improve roads and support the agricultural sector. This study aims to redesign Geometry, Pavement, Overlay and Drainage at Guguak Cino - Sitangkai road section. Geometric calculations were calculated using the Highways Method, the Geometric Planning for Inter-City Roads in 1997, Planning for flexible pavement thickness using the 2017 Road Pavement Design Manual method, Overlay using the 2002 Bina Marga method and the Drainage Planning Module. Geometric calculations are divided into horizontal alignments and vertical alignment, horizontal alignment with 83 Curves, 41 Full Circle Curves, 25 Spiral Circle Spiral Curves, 17 Spiral Spiral Curves, vertical alignment with 45 convex arches, 38 concave arches, pavement thickness planning divided into 4 segments, segments 2 and 4 did not increase ground level while in segment 1 and 3 increased by 100 mm and 300 mm, for Overlay obtained 6 cm thick, Drainage planned cross section of trapezoidal width of channel base 0.8 m, width over 1.7 m and 0.5 m channel depth. The results of this design can be applied to the comfort and safety of road users. Keywords : Geometric, Pavement, Overlay, Drainage.
