ANALISIS POTENSI SEKTOR UNGGULAN DAN STRUKTUR EKONOMI DI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT Asfa Nur Fitri, Nurul Huda1, Firdaus Sy2 Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Bung Hatta Asfanurfitri08@gmail.com, Nurulhuda114@yahoo.com, Firdaus@bunghatta.ac.id ABSTRACT The achievements of local development through economic development must be adapted to the conditions and potential of each region as well as the necessary planning coordinated development between sectors, development planning here aims to analyze thoroughly about the potential possessed by an area. the purpose of this study was to analyze the changes and shift in economic sectors and regions to analyze a sector basis or leading sectors in the economy in West Pasaman during the periode 2011 - 2015. The data analysis method used is the Shift Share Analysis, Analysis of Location Quotient (LQ) and analysis overlay. Based on the findings portray that the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and the Manufacturing Sector Processing and sub-sectors of agriculture, livestock, hunting and agricultural services and sub categories plantation crops are leading sectors that have economic power is quite good and very influential on economic growth in West Pasaman. Key Word: Shift Share, LQ dan Overlay ANALISIS POTENSI SEKTOR UNGGULAN DAN STRUKTUR EKONOMI DI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT Asfa Nur Fitri, Nurul Huda1, Firdaus Sy2 Jurusan Ekonomi Pembangunan Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Bung Hatta Asfanurfitri08@gmail.com, Nurulhuda114@yahoo.com, Firdaus@bunghatta.ac.id ABSTRAK Pencapaian keberhasilan pembangunan daerah melalui pembangunan ekonomi harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan potensi masing-masing daerah serta diperlukan perencanaan pembangunan yang terkoordinasi antar sektor, perencanaan pembangunan disini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara menyeluruh tentang potensi-potensi yang dimiliki oleh suatu daerah. tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perubahan dan pergeseran sektor perekonomian wilayah dan untuk menganalisis sektor basis atau sektor unggulan dalam perekonomian di Kabupaten Pasaman Barat selama periode 2011 - 2015. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Analisis Shift Share, Analisis Location Quotient (LQ) dan Analisis Overlay. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian mengambarkan bahwa Sektor Pertanian, Kehutanan dan Perikanan dan Sektor Industri Pengolahan serta sub sektor pertanian, peternakan, perburuan dan jasa pertanian dan sub kategori tanaman perkebunan merupakan sektor unggulan yang memiliki kekuatan ekonomi cukup baik dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi Kabupaten Pasaman Barat.
