Abstract

Teluk Bayur is also one port is projected to be the port that supports marine highway in accordance with the government program. As the largest port in West Sumatra, which is one branch of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Persero) with the power system safe and reliable manner. At this time the distribution of power systems in the supply of Substation (GH) ration PLN power to all customers in the region is 30 MVA. From substations (GH) there are 6 kWh each - each subscribing low voltage (TR) with a total of 1458.10 kVA power to the PT. Pelindo II, besides that there are cranes, each using their own generator (genset). With this system has shortcomings ie, less reliable, because with this system, resulting in a voltage drop on a light at night, and the distribution network is also irregular. With the ring open system that would unite the entire load to the distribution system, in addition to improving the electrical system is reliable, it is necessary to do planning of distribution substations with one medium voltage customers. The load capacity for the distribution of 12 425 kVA substations, distribution substations will be planned level two, level one there is a backup generator (genset), step-up transformers 0.4 / 20 kV and at a rate of two cubicles are panel LVMDP and MVMDP. In the step-up transformer requires a transformer 4 units each with a capacity of 4000 kVA and 8 units of generators with a capacity of 1500 kVA each. By using a single power supply of medium voltage distribution substations region Teluk Bayur port can save on the electricity bill payment, due to the large power class B3 rate less than the rate class B2 little helpless.
