Abstract

Telemetering uses telecommunications to record and send signals automatically from a measuring instrument. Telemetering was used to control and monitor directly. In this monitoring and control system is to measurements of electrical quantities such as current, voltage, and powers. are measured as well as controlling the load units in the Bung Hatta University Convention Hall building. The purpose of this research is to build a controller to monitor the electrical energy at Convention Hall Building using a smartphone. The equipment made which consists of components such as current sensors, voltage sensors, relays, Arduino Mega, Bluetooth Modules, Micro SD Modules, and using smartphones as media controllers and as monitors. Each component was tested before being assembled into a system. The results shows that it’s can be controlled and monitor electrical loads in the range of the Bluetooth signal by using a smartphone as a controller and monitoring tool.
