Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine variable local own revenues, general allocation fund, specific allocation fund, budget surplus and area of effect on capital expenditure. The sample used in this study were all made in a sample population of 19 districts / cities in the province of West Sumatra, which is composed of 12 regencies and 7 cities. Sampling using census method. Census method is a method by taking a sample of the whole district / city in Sumatra weight. Data analysis was wearing the classic assumption test and multiple linear regression analysis to test and prove the research hypothesis. The analysis showed that the regional income has no effect on capital expenditures, general allocation fund has no effect on capital expenditures, a special allocation effect on capital expenditures, budget surplus effect on capital expenditure budget and the area of influence on capital expenditure.
