Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of cooperative script model on learning outcomes in speaking indonesian subject grade III SDN 11 Kurao Pagang Padang in the year of 2018/2019. The research uses Huda’s theory (2014) about coopertive script learning model, Sudjana’s theory (2011) about learning outcomes, and Tarigan’s theory (2015) obout speaking. The type of research is experiment research, by using research designs pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research is all grade III students ofSDN 11 Kurao Pagang Padang, 2018/2019, and the sample in this research were all grade III students, totaling 44 students. Data collection techniques usung the rubric of speaking skills assessment and learning outcomes test, wich has 14 questions. Hypothesis testing using the T test, because the data is normally distributed and has homogeneous variants. Based on the risults of the research obtained the value of speaking skills in the experiment class of 86.4, and control class of 81.5. The average pretest value of the experiment class of 62.1, and control class of 57.4. Subsequently the average posttest value of the experiment clas of 83.1, and control class of 78.6. After procesing the data by lookingfor a range of pretestposttes then added to the value of the speaking skill rubric divided by 2, then obtained the average value of the experiment class with learning using a cooperative script model of 55.6 and the average value of the control class that uses the direct method of 51.4 with a statistical test level (a=0.05) obtained thitung 5.2 and t-table 2.01 wherein 5.2 >2.01. Therefore the H1 hyipothesis is accepted and H0 rejected. For that it can be interpreted that there is an influence of the cooperative script model on learning outcomes in speaking indonesian subject grade III SDN 11 Kurao Pagang Padang which is shown by the value of the experiment class before the research is 71.24, and after research is 83.1, and obtained an average final score of 55.6 with t-hitung 5.2 as a reference that the H1 hypothesis is accepted. Therefore it can be concluded that cooperative script model have advantages because it can train students to think systematically and train students to concentrate more on learning. Based on those results it can be conculded that the cooperative script model is able to influence students learning outcomes. Keyword : Cooperative Script, Learning Outcomes, Indonesian Subjects
