Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of job characteristics, work motivation and work environment on job satisfaction in the Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency of Padang City. The object of this research is the Civil Service and Human Resources Development Agency of Padang City, totaling 58 people. Where to obtain accurate data estimation results, the technique used in sampling is the census method, where the entire population is sampled because the population is small. The data collection technique used is the direct data acquisition method using the field method. The type of data used in this research is primary data. Data collection for this survey uses a questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis. From the results of hypothesis testing that has been done, it can be concluded as follows that job characteristics have a positive effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has no effect on job satisfaction and work environment has a positive effect on job satisfaction.
