Abstract

ANALYSIS OF BATUKALANG BEACH TOURIST DEVELOPMENT IN SOUTH COASTAL DISTRICT Aprinando Imran1 Nurul Huda2, Drs. Firdaus3 Ekonomi Pembangunan, Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Bunghatta Email: aprinando.imran@yahoo.co.id Abstract This study aims to determine the impact of the development of the Batukalang beach tourism sector in terms of improving the economy. And know the supporting and inhibiting factors and the impact of the development of the tourism sector carried out by the Department of Tourism for the community around the Batukalang coast. The data used are primary data, namely the distribution of Koesinior to the community related to the Batukalang beach location, Kab. South Coast. The method used is the SWOT analysis method. From the results of research conducted on the development of the Batukalang beach tourism sector using the SWOT method so that in the end it can draw conclusions in the positive aspects of strengths and threats as well as weaknesses and opportunities for the further development of the Batukal beach tourism sector. The main potential in the development strategy of the Batukalang beach tourism sector lies in the view of the tourism sector in the Koto XI Tarusan subdistrict which is airy and still beautiful so that it has a natural physical nature. good planning and spatial planning can then bring in sources of Original Local Revenue (PAD) and income for the communities around the Koto XI District Tarusan specifically the Ampang Pulai Nagari community.
