Abstract

Various kinds of medical professions, there are still many doctors who make medication errors or neglect in their duties by not paying attention to important things in their patients, as a result, many patients are harmed by these negligence. Legal protection for patients which is based on Article 77 of the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36 of 2014 concerning Health Workers. Problem Formulation 1) What is the form of the dentist's accountability in practice errors to patients based on the medical code of ethics? 2) What is the legal protection for patients according to consumer protection law? This research uses a normative juridical approach, normative legal research is carried out with positive legal inventory research. data collection techniques by studying documents related to the problems to be studied. Conclusions of research results 1) The legal responsibility of doctors in administrative malpractice is in the form of violations of administrative provisions in the implementation of medical practice. Violation of administrative law in medical practice is basically a violation of the administrative legal obligations of medical practice. 2) In finding malpractice perpetrators at dentists, consumers can report to BPSK as an authorized institution on consumer protection, BPSK as a bridge between consumers and business actors in this case doctors who open Kliki to mediate and find solutions to these problems.
